"We live in a small house in an old neighborhood that is rapidly being invaded by new McMansion construction. The decision to stay in our small house had already been agreed upon, so now it was up to whether to spend money on our view of the backyard and pool which had been done in stamped concrete back in 1995. It had faded and lost much of its real stone illusion. We had gotten bids on a complete re-pour redo that ranged from 16 to 26 thousand. My last attempt was with Aztec who came to offer a bid. Co-owner Erika Dale explained that they do every aspect of concrete work, but she felt that they could just rework and re-stain the existing stencil and get good results for a lot less money. I agreed and in a very short time the project was completed and absolutely incredible. The crew worked all day, every day until it was done. They were always on time, quiet and never left without cleaning up. It was like they were never there. Erika's initial consultation included a complete step by step explanation of the project, all the color variations that were possible and some ideas on how to expand a little and stay within the budget. They even poured a small slab in the back for my BBQ pit and finished pouring our front steps that needed to be done after we got new streets from the city. The total project cost us less than 8,500.00 dollars. Aztec is a small mom & pop company that reminds you what good service and pride in work is all about. "The gentlemen that came out to remove the old driveway and the porch did a great job; they were very neat and cleaned up all debris. They also did this without tearing up my yard! Things were kept very clean as they formed the driveway. The guys had my driveway and porch poured in one day despite some unforeseen rain. We had our porch stamped and stained and it looks great!!!
